Sapphire

The gem of friendship, loyalty and love, the stone of yogis, healers and saints, many women choose a sapphire engagement ring.

Blue sapphires coloured by iron and is part of the Corundum family. Deriving from the Greek "sapphieros", sapphires are also found in shades of pink, yellow, orange, green, colourless and purple, as well as the rare Padparadsha or Lotus Flower orange pink sapphires.
