Green Tourmaline
Tourmaline's complex mineral structure produces beautiful forest greens, sea green, peacock blue green, and mint.
Dutch traders brought tourmaline from Sri Lanka to Europe in the 1600’s. Called an Aschentrekker, tourmaline was used to pull ash from long Meerschaum pipes because the Dutch discovered that tourmaline became electrically charged when heated.
