Turquoise is a universal colour and is beloved by everyone. This gem is sensitive to bright sunlight, body lotion and perfume.

Ancient Egyptians believed that turquoise, lapis and malachite were stones where Heaven met the Earth. Prized as a talisman throughout civilisation, from the Persian Empire and Shang Dynasty to the Native Americans, Turkish stone was brought to Europe via Turkey from Iran.
